Potentiometers

Inclination Sensors

FSG inclination sensors are characterized by high-precision measuring systems, which can also be designed redundantly for safety-relevant applications and can compensate for shock loads with additional gyro sensors. This gives our inclination sensors a level of flexibility that allows them to be used in almost all applications.

Draw-Wire Encoders

Maximum performance for length detection of linear motion sequences. FSG draw-wire encoders are characterized above all by their modular design and flexible construction. 

This means that FSG rotaryrotary encoder or commercially available encoder solutions can be easily adapted via a clutch or gearbox mount. With different design variants and measuring ranges, FSG draw-wire sensors are suitable for almost all areas of application.

Spring Cable Reels

In addition to signal transmission, FSG cableCable drum are also used for length and angle measurement. The measurement data and control signals are routed via a special electrical cable and tapped via a multi-pole slip ring. Cable drum are mainly used for measuring telescopic arms and booms in crane systems and aerial work platforms as well as for controlling stage systems in event technology. The additional use of layer winders ensures high precision in length measurement.

Wind Sensors

FSG anemometers are used to detect and monitor wind speed and direction. In the robust versions with central mounting for base or standpipe installation or with a pendulum device, especially for mounting on crane booms, the sensors can be used universally in all areas of application. The anemometers are usually equipped with a wear-free, magnetic measuring system, also available in a redundant version on request and with an additional reed contact for wind detection even when the supply voltage is switched off, or as a version with a tachogenerator for use without an additional power supply.
